I tried to find a Podcast for Women in Sobriety and couldn’t find ONE. We wanted to make one about life’s crazy journey to and in recovery for only women. We know we are the only people who can share “It’s funny how I stopped drinking, and I stop breaking out in handcuffs!”.
Unfortunately, women are more 40X likely to relapse than men. Additionally, women remain underrepresented (23%) in addiction treatment. This may be due to stigmas, shame, or fear of legal action against them. We need women’s voices to show we are equal in every way!!!
Let’s change the stigma and laugh are way through as we trudge the Road of Happy Destiny! ! Share your stories, humor, tears and love with us.
